Job summary

NatCen International is recruiting Field Interviewers in Scotland to visit households and conduct in-home interviews on health, housing, transport and daily life. You will represent a trusted research organisation and help ensure Scottish voices are heard in decisions.

You’ll be trained before fieldwork, travel across your patch, and receive practical route planning support, with paid travel time and mileage reimbursement on most projects.

Qualifications

• Requires valid UK driving licence and sole use of a car (and DBS check).
• Right to work in the UK.
• Willingness to complete DBS check and training.
• Excellent verbal and written English.

Responsibilities

• Visit people in your local area and carry out in-home research interviews.
• Accurately record responses using a NatCen device.
• Travel across the assigned area; occasional overnight stays may be required.
• Participate in training before fieldwork and receive ongoing support.
