Job summary

Norfolk Community Health and Care NHS Trust is seeking a Community Triage and Allocation Administrator to join the Community Nursing and Phlebotomy Teams. You will process referrals, allocate visits, and support clinicians in triage and data quality tasks within a busy NHS community setting.

The role offers full NHS training, a supportive environment, and opportunities for development within the NHS. Weekend rota may be required to operate a 7-day service.

Qualifications

• Organised and detail-oriented with IT & data entry skills
• confident communicator over phone and in writing
• Healthcare administration experience is desirable but not essential

Responsibilities

• Receive and process referrals into the service using the patient database
• Allocate visits to community nursing teams triaged by a colleague
• Triage phlebotomy referrals under clinician direction and set priorities
• Perform safety and data quality checks on SystmOne
• Support SystmOne tasks and allocations
• Occasional weekend rota to support 7-day service
• Make phone calls to patients and staff as required
• Ensure accurate entry of referral details for audit purposes
• Maintain patient confidentiality and information governance
