Job summary

County Durham & Darlington NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Therapy Assistant to join the Community Therapy North Team at Chester Le Street Community Hospital, working with Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists and Associate Practitioners in community and hospital settings.

The role includes independent and joint visits across North Durham, documentation at point of care, lone worker requirements, and participation in professional development and training.

Qualifications

• Experience in multidisciplinary teams and working with adults.
• NHS experience desirable.
• Must be able to travel across Trust sites and locality.

Responsibilities

• Plan and organise clinical activity with time scheduling.
• Maintain clinical records in line with guidelines and legal requirements.
• Ensure safe use of equipment and environment; allocate resources.
