Job summary

Touchstone is seeking a Community Support Worker to join the Community Support Team in Leeds. The role provides intensive mental health support to service users with complex needs, employing assertive outreach and close liaison with Community Mental Health Teams.

37 hours a week, fixed-term until 30 June 2028 with a possible extension. Experience in mental health work in residential/day care/community settings is preferred; NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care is desirable.

Qualifications

• Experience of mental health work in residential, day care, nursing or community settings.
• NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care or above desirable.
• Able to work flexible hours, including occasional weekends.

Responsibilities

• Provide intensive mental health support to service users with complex needs.
• Work closely with Community Mental Health Teams in Leeds.
• Peer support, group clinical supervision and buddy system provided.
