Keane Premier Support Services in the CAMBUSLANG/RUTHERGLEN area is hiring compassionate Support Workers to help service users maintain independence in the community. No prior experience is required; PVG and two satisfactory references are needed.

Qualifications

• No previous care experience required; genuine passion for helping service users.
• Must have full UK driving license and right to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Support service users in all aspects of personal care.
• Support service users with medication where required.
• Assist service users to meet nutritional needs.
• Carry out light house duties.
• Assist service users with finances as per company policy.
• Ensure service users have access to healthcare, if required.
• Use communication methods to listen and talk to service users to promote wellbeing.
• Encourage relationships with family, friends and community.
• Be mindful of equality and diversity and act respectfully.
• Be aware of adult protection issues and report appropriately.
• Report service users progress on the correct platforms.
• Maintain documentation on progress and activities.
• Have a Full UK Driving License
