Job summary

Keane Premier Group is recruiting for a Support Worker to assist service users in Hamilton, Blantyre and surrounding areas. You will join the KPSS team to promote independence and deliver compassionate care, with access to wellbeing benefits and ongoing training.

No prior experience is required; PVG and two satisfactory references are requested. A full UK driving license is required to support travel across the area, and there are clear progression paths within the company.

Qualifications

• No prior healthcare experience required.
• PVG check and 2 satisfactory references required.

Responsibilities

• Support service users in all aspects of personal care.
• Support service users with medication where required.
• Assist service users to meet their nutritional needs.
• Carry out light house duties.
• Assist service users with finances as per company policy.
• Ensure service users have access to healthcare, if required.
• Utilise all communication methods to listen and talk to service users to promote their wellbeing.
• Encourage the relationships service users have with family, friends, and wider community.
• Be mindful of equality and diversity, and behave in a culturally sensitive manner.
• Be aware of adult protection issues and report accordingly.
• Report a service user's progress on the correct platforms.
• Full UK Driving License
