Job summary

CO-OP is hiring a Customer Team Member to join our community-focused store. You’ll help keep shelves stocked, assist customers on the shop floor and at the tills, and may work in our bakery or in online order pickups. You’ll also promote Co-op Membership and support local community initiatives.

This part-time role is 16 hours per week with regular overtime, includes early shifts from 5:45am, and requires flexible weekend availability. Full training is provided to help you thrive.

Qualifications

• Experience in delivering friendly customer service is preferred.
• Ability to work as part of a team in a busy store environment.
• Interest in retail and helping customers in-store.

Responsibilities

• Deliver friendly, thoughtful service and help right store issues.
• Work with your team to keep the store running smoothly.
• Handle tills, shop floor, and in-store bakery tasks as needed.
• Keep shelves stocked, check prices and stock accuracy.
• Ensure shelf temperatures, dates, and prices are correct; keep things safe and legal.
• Promote Co-op Membership and engage with the local community.
