Job summary

Denbighshire Leisure Ltd is recruiting a Community Sport Leader to deliver inclusive, community and school‑based sport and physical activity across Denbighshire. You will support volunteers and partner organisations to make a real difference in health and well‑being.

The role is fixed‑term until 31 March 2028, 30 hours per week, at £15.07 per hour. Based at DLL HQ in Denbigh, it requires travel across Denbighshire. Closing date 9 October 2026. For details contact Aled Williams or Sian Bennett.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering sport/physical activity sessions.
• Coaching or Sport Leaders qualification preferred.
• Ability to engage participants of all ages.
• Reliable and energetic team player.

Responsibilities

• Deliver sport and physical activity sessions in community and school settings.
• Deliver Bikeability sessions.
• Coordinate planning, marketing and delivery of programmes and events.
• Work with schools, clubs and partners to create opportunities.
• Encourage and support volunteers to participate.
• Collect feedback to monitor projects and demonstrate impact.
