Job summary

Outwood Grange Academies Trust in North Yorkshire is seeking a Lead SENDCo to work across Ripon, Easingwold, Bydales and Normanby, with Ripon as the base. You will shape SEND provision across a collaborative community, delivering inclusive leadership beyond a single school.

The role focuses on developing SSPs, leading SEND practice, coaching teams and strengthening inclusion across diverse contexts to raise outcomes for all students.

Qualifications

• Experience as a SENDCo or Lead SENDCo.
• Ability to develop SSPs across multiple academies.
• Strong collaboration and leadership skills across complex settings.

Responsibilities

• Lead the strategic development of SSP practice.
• Ensure high quality, meaningful plans that support teachers to deliver Quality First Teaching.
• Evaluate impact and refine provision for SEND students to thrive academically and socially.
• Provide coaching and CPD for Assistant SENDCos, SENDCos and inclusion teams.
• Be a visible leader and member of the Senior Leadership Team at Ripon.
