Qualifications

• Registered Nurse (General) plus significant further specialist knowledge/post‑registration experience to diploma level or equivalent underpinned by theory.
• Experience working with respiratory patients (e.g., COPD, ILD, bronchiectasis).
• Independent nurse prescriber (V300).

Responsibilities

• Be pro‑active in delivering anticipatory and responsive care.
• Offer a comprehensive nursing/therapy service to the resident population.
• Identify, manage and discuss a cohort of patients with long‑term lung conditions.
• Work closely with multi‑disciplinary teams to maximise patient quality of life.
• Provide care in community clinic settings and in patients’ own homes.
• Travel independently across the county as required.

Teaching and assessing experience

Good time‑management and ability to work unsupervised

Basic IT skills

Strong communication skills, written, verbal and presentation

Able to network effectively

Evidence of clinical skill development

Education
