Job summary

Liquid Personnel is recruiting 2 Occupational Therapists for its client’s Adults Community Health & Social Care Team in Mid-Devon. The role focuses on enabling adults to maximise independence in their own homes and community settings through assessments, equipment provision and reablement.

You'll complete home assessments, moving and handling assessments, and collaborate with Social Workers, Health colleagues and other agencies. Travel across Mid-Devon is required.

Qualifications

• OT degree or diploma required.
• Current HCPC registration is mandatory.
• Experience with adults with disabilities desirable.

Responsibilities

• Complete person-centred OT assessments and case management.
• Carry out moving and handling assessments.
• Assess for equipment and adaptations, including DFGs.
• Complete risk, mental capacity and safeguarding assessments.
• Support individuals to maximise independence.
• Collaborate with Social Workers, Health colleagues and other agencies.
• Manage a varied caseload across community settings.
