Job summary

Leicestershire Partnership NHS Trust is seeking dedicated staff to join our Community Nursing Teams across Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland. You will deliver a wide range of care activities under a Registered Nurse, and be supported by induction, supervision, and a buddy system.

A car and UK driving license are essential for travel between bases. Flexible shift patterns are available in line with service needs.

Qualifications

• Level 2 Maths and English or equivalent.
• Level 3 Care or equivalent.
• Car and UK driving licence are essential for work use.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical care delegated by a Registered Nurse, including wounds/leg ulcers management, medicines administration and catheter care.
• Provide personal care for patients.
• Work with the wider multidisciplinary team.
• Support patients to remain at home and avoid hospital admission.
• Promote self-care and independence.
• Report changes in patient condition to the registered practitioner.

Education

Level 2 Maths and English
