Job summary

Blackpool Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is recruiting Community Nurses to cover the Fylde Coast. These permanent roles are based in clinics and patient homes, requiring NMC registered nurses with DBS clearance and a flexible, patient-centred approach.

The role involves planning and delivering safe, effective care across community settings, with weekend/evening work included. Full-time or part-time options available within 37.5 hours per week.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse level 1 and current NMC registration.
• Evidence of ongoing professional development.
• Supervisor/Assessor competence or willingness to undertake.
• Continence qualification advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care in the community.
• Provide high standard of evidence-based nursing care.
• Communicate effectively with patients and families; support English as a second language.
• Promote health at individual and community levels.
• Administer drugs within NMC guidelines.
