Job summary

NHS Forth Valley is recruiting enthusiastic Support Workers for community residential services for adults with learning disabilities across Falkirk, Stirling and Dunblane. You will contribute to personalised care plans and support service users to live independently with dignity and respect.

The role requires flexibility for shift, weekend and sleepover duties, and involvement in staff training and meetings.

Qualifications

• SVQ Level 2/3 Health & Social Care is highly desirable and registration with the Scottish Social Services Council is required.
• Commitment to dignity and respect principles in line with NHS Forth Valley values.
• Willingness to achieve SVQ within timescales and to participate in PVG checks.

Responsibilities

• Provide person-centred care and support to adults with learning disabilities in community-based settings.
• Support service users to live in their own homes and engage in daily living activities within the local community.
• Work as part of a small team, showing initiative and confidence in unsupervised situations.
