Job summary

NHS Forth Valley is recruiting Support Workers to provide person-centred care and support to adults with learning disabilities in community residential services across Falkirk, Stirling and Dunblane. The role requires flexibility for shifts, weekends and sleepovers, with emphasis on dignity, respect and living independently in the community.

Qualifications

• SVQ Level 2/3 Health & Social Care is highly desirable.
• Registration with the Scottish Social Services Council is required.
• Training will be provided to achieve the SVQ within a given timescale.

Responsibilities

• Provide person-centred care and support to service users in daily living and in the community.
• Act as an integral member of a small staff team and participate in all aspects of daily living activities.
• Work patterns include shift work, weekends and sleepover duties; additional hours may be required.
