Cardiff Council’s Caretaking Services are seeking a reliable cleaner for a Community Living Scheme in Cardiff. You will clean communal areas, maintain high cleanliness standards, and help keep residents safe and comfortable on-site.

This permanent, full-time role offers on-site work, training, and the Living Wage Supplement, with Welsh language skills considered advantageous and support for job sharing available.

Qualifications

• Commitment to delivering excellent cleaning standards.
• Ability to work independently and manage workloads.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Professional and respectful approach in a residential environment.
• Understanding of health and safety requirements.
• Previous cleaning experience is desirable.
• Welsh language skills would be advantageous.

Responsabilités

• Clean communal areas including corridors, lounges, lifts, stairwells, toilets, kitchens, and other shared facilities.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness throughout the building.
• Ensure communal areas remain safe, presentable, and welcoming for residents, visitors, and staff.
• Report repairs, health and safety concerns, and other issues identified during work.
• Support the wider Caretaking Services team in maintaining a quality environment for residents.
