Job summary

Randstad Education in Bodmin is seeking a dedicated Learning Mentor / SEMH Support Worker for a full-time, long-term position. You will support pupils across primary or secondary sites, using community-based learning to rebuild confidence and re-engage with education.

The role requires a full UK driving license, GCSE Maths & English at C/4 or above, and demonstrated experience with SEMH or vulnerable youth. Apply to contribute to meaningful, lasting impact locally.

Qualifications

• GCSE Maths and English at grade C/4 or above (or equivalent).
• Full-time availability for long-term placement.
• Strong communication and resilience in mentoring students.
• Experience supporting SEMH or vulnerable youth is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Classroom re-engagement strategies to reintegrate pupils.
• Drive community-based learning activities across Bodmin.
• Collaborate with parents, social workers and local agencies.
• Deliver targeted interventions across primary or secondary sites.
