Job summary

Nacro is recruiting for a Community Accommodation with Support role based in Southampton. You will assess needs, develop person-centred support plans, manage housing applications and tenancy sustainment, and work with probation services and housing providers to achieve positive outcomes.

Role requires DBS checks, full driving license, and the ability to work in a multi-agency team with strong safeguarding, confidentiality and record-keeping skills.

Responsibilities

• Assess service users' needs and create person-centred support plans; assist with housing applications, Housing Benefit claims, and rent payments.
• Ensure properties meet the Decent Homes Standard; address maintenance issues and guide service users on safe living conditions.
• Collaborate with probation services, court staff, housing providers and other agencies to deliver coordinated support.
• Help service users develop practical life skills and manage accommodation for independent living.
• Identify and manage safeguarding concerns and tenancy risks; document actions.
• Maintain accurate case records and ensure service delivery complies with requirements.
