Job summary

Amplius is seeking a Community Support Worker in Peterborough, UK, to provide housing-related support to customers in supported accommodation, helping them live independently with dignity. The role involves developing personalised support plans, reviewing risk assessments, and coordinating with partner agencies.

The position is permanent, full-time (37 hours/week) with a rolling rota, offering the chance to promote wellbeing, engagement and tenancy management in the local community.

Qualifications

• GCSEs in English and Maths at Grade 4/C or above.
• Experience providing person-centred housing support.
• Understanding safeguarding, wellbeing and challenges for diverse support needs.
• Strong communication and listening skills, able to build positive relationships.
• Good organisation and administration skills, able to work independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Provide person-centred housing-related support to help customers build confidence and independence.
• Work as a key worker, developing and reviewing support plans and risk assessments with customers.
• Help customers manage their tenancy, including rent, utilities, repairs and maintaining their home.
• Build positive relationships and encourage wellbeing, social inclusion and community involvement.
• Work with partner agencies to coordinate effective support and help customers achieve their goals.
• Keep accurate records, reports and support plans, monitoring progress and outcomes.
• Promote safeguarding, health and safety and equality, while managing risks.
