Area Repairs Manager

Base pay range
  • Salary: £54,658 per year
  • Contract: Permanent, full time
  • Working hours: 36.25 hours per week (Monday to Friday 9 am–5:15 pm)
  • Location: Hybrid, with a weekly presence in either our Peterborough, Rushden, Boston or Milton Keynes office
Snapshot of your role
  • Lead and support the team to monitor contractor performance, ensuring quality, timeliness and value, and address any underperformance promptly.
  • Maintain the accuracy and integrity of all contract administration and reporting data, continually improving auditing and reporting processes.
  • Extract and analyse data from core systems to support contract management and informed decision-making.
  • Support budget forecasting, monitoring and control, recommending remedial action where needed.
  • Ensure services meet customer and stakeholder expectations, with clear communication and timely responses to enquiries and escalations.
  • Oversee sensitive and robust complaint handling, using feedback to drive continuous improvement.
  • Promote collaborative working across teams while ensuring health, safety and risk management requirements are met.
  • Lead by example to manage team performance, uphold consistent standards and represent Amplius with internal and external stakeholders.
Your toolkit for success
  • Solid knowledge of repairs and maintenance in social housing, including health, safety and risk compliance.
  • Experience leading remote teams and managing performance effectively.
  • Ability to interpret data to identify risks, opportunities and performance trends.
  • Skilled in managing resources and budgets to deliver cost-effective, customer-focused services.
  • Able to engage and empower colleagues, lead change and work flexibly with empathy for Amplius’ aims.

A full UK driving licence is essential for this role.

DBS clearance is required for this role.
