Job summary

G-NIUS | Powered by Goodman Masson is seeking two Neighbourhood Officers to join a busy housing team in Salford. The role is field-based, involving visits to residents, managing your own workload and some home working.

You will support residents with housing issues and help create safe, well-managed communities. You will need a full UK driving licence and access to your own car, with experience in housing, lettings or social housing.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering good customer service in housing, lettings or social housing settings.
• Ability to communicate clearly with residents from diverse backgrounds.
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage a busy workload.
• Ability to handle sensitive or challenging situations calmly and professionally.
• Willingness to work both independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Manage your own patch of properties across Salford.
• Deal with ASB, rent queries, repairs, lettings and exchanges.
• Carry out property visits and viewings.
• Support residents with tenancy issues and provide guidance.
• Handle complaints in a professional, constructive manner.
• Work with local partners and organisations to support residents.
• Ensure properties and gardens meet required standards.
• Manage your own diary and priorities.
