A Band 5 Occupational Therapist is sought to join the team at Kincardine Community Hospital, Stonehaven. You will manage a caseload, assess and intervene to help patients achieve goals, maximise independence and discharge safely.

Work within a well-established MDT and contribute to discharge planning, staff supervision, and service development. A supportive environment with opportunities for professional development is offered.

Formación

• MSc or BSc in Occupational Therapy.
• HCPC registration (or eligible for registration).
• Enthusiasm for community hospital rehabilitation and discharge planning.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
• Full valid UK driving licence with access to a car for work.

Responsabilidades

• Manage a designated caseload and provide occupational therapy assessment and intervention to support patient goals.
• Maximise independence and enable safe and timely discharge from hospital.
• Contribute to coordinated, person-centred care with patients, families and carers.
• Support and supervise OT support staff and students where possible.
• Engage in service development and quality improvement initiatives.
