Job summary

Staffordshire County Council is seeking a dedicated administrator to join the Community Highways team based at Gailey, covering South Staffordshire and Cannock. This full-time role supports the delivery of highway services and acts as the community-facing link for highway-related enquiries.

You will handle complex data, work with GIS records, and assist with reporting and programmes of work, all while delivering excellent customer service to residents and members of the council.

Qualifications

• Experience of working with complex data and responding to written and verbal enquiries.
• Business administration experience or equivalent qualifications.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Ability to interpret maps with a good attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Support the local Community Highways team to deliver highway services with a community-based approach and improve elected member and community satisfaction.
• Provide a first-line response to enquiries and be the go-to person for community enquiries related to highways.
• Interrogate digital records and GIS systems.
• Collate information to respond to requests.
• Support the production of reports and programmes of work.
