Job summary

CO-OP is seeking a Customer Team Member to join a friendly store team in a fast-moving retail environment. You may work in the post office, bakery, or support online order services, helping customers and ensuring a great shopping experience.

You’ll help keep shelves stocked, assist customers, and promote Co-op Membership as part of a community-focused business. Flexibility across shifts and a proactive, customer-first attitude are essential.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience is valued but not required.
• Willingness to work across multiple shifts as part of a team.
• Interest in retail and helping customers in a busy store environment.

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day running of the store by delivering friendly and thoughtful service, helping to put things right when needed
• Work with your team to keep the store running smoothly
• Work hands-on on the shop floor and tills, contributing to daily operations
• Help maintain store performance by stocking shelves and checking prices, dates, and stock accuracy
• Ensure the store is safe and compliant with prices, dates and temperatures in order
• Promote Co-op Membership and support the local community
• Demonstrate a genuine passion for helping people and delivering great customer service
• Be flexible across a number of shifts and as part of a team
