Job summary

Lincolnshire Co-op is seeking a Customer Services Assistant to help deliver a welcoming shopping experience in our local Food Stores across Lincolnshire and surrounding counties. You’ll be the friendly face at the till, assist customers, and contribute to a well-presented, well-stocked store.

No retail experience is required; enthusiasm, a willingness to learn, and a love of helping people are what we value. Join a team that puts communities first.

Qualifications

• No prior retail experience required; enthusiasm and willingness to learn matter most.
• Friendly, confident communication and a positive attitude are essential.
• Able to work as part of a team in a busy store environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly, knowledgeable service to customers at the till and at point-of-sale terminals.
• Operate checkouts and payment systems, restock and rotate stock, and keep displays tidy and appealing.
• Support in-store services including bakery and food-to-go where needed.
• Collaborate with colleagues and contribute to community initiatives and store standards.
