Job summary

Retirement Villages Group in West Byfleet is seeking an Event & Community Coordinator to bring Botanical Place to life. You'll create engaging programs for residents and prospective residents, organise events from small activities to large gatherings, and build partnerships with local businesses and groups.

Working closely with Village, Sales and Marketing teams, you’ll co-host events that showcase the lifestyle on offer, support new residents, and help the community connect before and after

Qualifications

• At least 3 years' experience organising events in a commercial environment.
• Experience delivering events of varying sizes, up to 200 attendees.
• At least 3 years' experience in customer service, community engagement or a similar people-focused role.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• A DBS check will be required; Emergency First Aid at Work desirable, training can be provided.

Responsibilities

• Create and deliver a varied, engaging and inclusive programme of activities and events for residents and prospective residents.
• Organise events from smaller community activities to large-scale events for up to 200 guests.
• Support new residents as they settle into life at Botanical Place.
• Build strong relationships with residents and encourage participation across the community.
• Work closely with Sales and Marketing to organise and co-host sales and community events.
• Use local knowledge to promote Botanical Place and engage with prospective residents.
• Build relationships with local businesses, community groups, volunteers and service providers.
• Welcome external community groups and showcase our facilities.
• Be a key point of contact for residents, families and stakeholders.
• Collaborate with the wider village team to deliver a great resident and customer experience.
• Continuously review and improve the events programme to maximise engagement and commercial opportunities.
