Global Highland is recruiting on behalf of their client for a passionate and proactive Community Engagement Manager.

This key role focuses on building strong, lasting relationships within communities, going beyond core service delivery to create real local impact.

You will develop and implement a comprehensive go-to-market (GTM) strategy targeting both residential and business sectors. This includes geo-targeting at settlement levels, strategic planning, and executing outreach initiatives. Success will be measured by local engagement and service adoption, tracked per project.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead local engagement activities, including sponsorships with schools, community groups, sports clubs, and hubs.
• Build partnerships with education providers to deliver skills training and attract local talent.
• Enhance community awareness and positive sentiment through high-impact initiatives.
• Engage actively with communities both in person and online, maintaining a visible presence.
• Manage affiliate and referral programs to support growth and service adoption.
• Monitor and report outreach activities to develop a knowledge base of successful engagement models.
• Generate positive media and PR value through strategic partnerships and community stories.

What You'll Bring

• Proven experience in community engagement or outreach.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong leadership skills, with experience motivating remote or field teams.
• Confidence engaging with diverse stakeholders, from MPs to grassroots organizers.
• Excellent planning and organizational skills across multiple regions.
• Commercial awareness and analytical skills to assess impact.
• Full UK driving license and willingness to travel regionally.
