Job summary

Wrightington, Wigan and Leigh Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is recruiting a motivated nurse to join the Wigan Central District Nursing team. A structured preceptorship is provided and there is a robust competency framework to support development.

The role involves visiting patients at home across the Trust, with a 37.5 hour week (08:30–17:00). Applicants must have access to a car with business insurance and be able to travel across the Trust.

Qualifications

• Registered nurse with current registration and up-to-date competencies.
• Ability to travel regularly across the Trust to patient homes.
• DBS check enhancements will be completed during pre-employment.

Responsibilities

• You will have a variety of clinical skills and be able to demonstrate continued professional development and qualified as a registered nurse.
• You will need to be able to travel independently across the Trust.
• Enhanced DBS with Adults' Barred List check will be obtained during pre-employment checks.
