Wrightington, Wigan & Leigh NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Health Care Support Worker to join the Out of Hours District Nursing team. The role involves delivering nursing care to patients in their homes during 3 evening shifts, with a 15-hour weekly pattern and travel between Ashton, Wigan and Leigh.

Applicants should have NVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care (or NHS Care Certificate), a full driving licence, and an Enhanced DBS check.

Qualifikationen

• NVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care or NHS Care Certificate required.
• Full driving licence with business use on car insurance essential.
• Based in Community division with travel to Ashton, Wigan and Leigh.
• Enhanced DBS with Adults Barred List check.
• Excellent communication and problem solving skills expected.

• Assist in delivering nursing care to patients in their homes or clinics as directed by the team.
• Undertake extended NVQ level 3 tasks after Trust training.
• Communicate effectively with the team and other agencies.
• Undertake delegated duties to support smooth district nursing operations.
• Maintain stock control and report changes in patient condition.
