Job summary

Birmingham Community Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Band 5 Community Staff Nurse for the West Unplanned Team in Birmingham. The role is part-time (19 hours per week) with a permanent contract and pro rata salary of £32,073–£39,043 per year.

A full driving licence and access to a car are essential to visit patients across the west locality. The post involves community-based nursing, rapid response in patients' homes, and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team to deliver

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse Level 1 (Adult).
• Must hold a driving licence & access to a car.
• Experience in a multidisciplinary team setting is desirable.
• Ability to perform holistic nursing care and assessments.

Responsibilities

• Respond quickly to patients with varied health needs.
• Coordinate with planned and multi-disciplinary teams to deliver nursing care.
• Carry out nursing duties as part of holistic care, including palliative, catheter, wound care and diabetes management.
