Job summary

NHS Ayrshire and Arran is seeking a Dietitian for the Community Dietetic Service based at North West Kilmarnock Area Centre. The role involves delivering dietetic care to patients at home, care homes, GP practices and health centres, managing your own caseload and contributing to the team.

The post is permanent, 28.8 hours over 4 days, with on-call rota if required; a UK driving licence is essential. You must have a degree or postgraduate diploma in Nutrition and Dietetics and be HCPC

Qualifications

• Degree or postgraduate diploma in Nutrition and Dietetics and HCPC registration.
• Community dietetics experience is an advantage.
• Exemplary time management, organisational skills, self-motivation and leadership qualities.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day caseload and provide dietetic care in patients' homes, care homes, GP practices and health centres.
• Work with a team of dietitians and support staff to meet national and local targets.
• Offer practice and clinical supervision and support student placements on A, B and C placements.
