NHS Lanarkshire is seeking a Registered Dietitian to provide a rotational dietetic service across acute and community settings in Lanarkshire. You will deliver care in patients' homes, inpatient settings and outpatient clinics with a focus on nutritional support, GI disorders, overweight/obesity, and enteral feeding.

You will work within policies and contribute to service development and training of staff and students.

Qualificações

• Registered Dietitian with valid HCPC Registration.
• Demonstrate excellent team working skills with the ability to work using own initiative.
• Effective listening, communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work with people and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Excellent time management skills.
• Working knowledge of basic information technology.

Responsabilidades

• Act as an independent practitioner assessing, planning and delivering nutrition care.
• Present complex information to patients and carers in an understandable way.
• Advise on prescribable nutritional products as appropriate.
• Maintain diet therapy ordering system and ensure supplies reach patients.
• Keep accurate records of interventions and outcomes.
