NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde is seeking an enthusiastic Senior Dietitian to join the Rehabilitation and Enablement Service. The post covers home visits and community settings, with part-time, permanent hours and a requirement to travel across Renfrewshire.

A full UK driving licence is essential. You will assess, treat and support nutritional care plans, working within a multidisciplinary team to prevent hospital admissions and promote recovery.

Competenze

• BSc in Human Nutrition and Dietetics is required.
• Registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) is required.
• Significant post-registration dietetic experience including nutritional support and complex patient management.
• Experience working effectively within multidisciplinary teams and across healthcare settings.
• Excellent communication, organisational and time management skills.
• Good IT skills with the ability to maintain accurate patient records and utilise digital systems effectively.
• Full UK driving licence and access to transport to support community-based working.

Mansioni

• Provide specialist dietetic assessment, treatment and nutritional support for patients with complex needs in the community.
• Manage and prioritise an independent caseload across community and rehabilitation settings.
• Develop, implement and review personalised nutritional care plans to support rehabilitation and recovery.
• Offer expertise in enteral feeding and nutritional support to patients, carers and healthcare professionals.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support hospital avoidance, discharge planning and readmission prevention.
• Deliver education, training and mentorship to healthcare staff, students and support workers.
• Contribute to service development, audits, quality improvement activities and evidence-based practice.
