Job summary

Angard Recruitment supports Royal Mail in recruiting flexible delivery drivers. You will deliver letters and parcels across your round, driving the Royal Mail van and occasionally walking routes on foot to complete deliveries.

You must hold a full UK manual licence with up to 6 points, be physically fit to walk 20,000 steps daily, and stay flexible for varying shift patterns. A driving assessment is required on start.

Qualifications

• Full, manual UK driving licence with no more than 6 points.
• Be prepared to walk 20,000 steps a day, get in and out of your van regularly, and carry a mailbag up to 16kg.
• Shifts can vary, so you must be able to adapt at short notice.

Responsibilities

• Deliver letters and parcels as a Post Person with Driving.
• Drive your delivery round and occasionally complete parts of the route on foot.
• Provide excellent service and ensure items reach destinations safely.
• Handle and deliver election materials and other items in line with Royal Mail standards.
