Job summary

Royal Mail Langport Delivery Office is hiring a Post Person with Driving to serve the local community. You will drive a Royal Mail van around your delivery area, with parts completed on foot, delivering letters and parcels come rain or shine.

Shifts are flexible and you must pass a driving assessment. Guaranteed hours: minimum 20 per week during the stated period, with pay rates from £13.69–£16.44 per hour depending on shift.

Qualifications

• Full, manual UK driving licence with no more than 6 points.
• Be prepared to walk 20,000 steps a day and handle a mailbag up to 16 kg.
• Shifts can vary; adapt at short notice.

Responsibilities

• Deliver letters and parcels to the local community.
• Drive the delivery van and complete parts of routes on foot.
• Deliver election materials and other items in line with standards.
