Job summary

Carmarthen CMA, part of Carmarthen Foodbank and Money Advice, seeks a dedicated manager to lead debt advice provision, budgeting support and volunteer supervision. You will ensure FCA-compliant processes, recruit and support advisers, and build strong community partnerships.

Working with the Foodbank Manager, you will provide strategic leadership to tackle poverty, maintain high standards, and manage day-to-day CMA operations with a client-centered approach.

Qualifications

• MaPS Accredited Advice Level training required or willingness to undertake within 4 weeks.
• Full driving licence.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to relate to and support vulnerable clients and diverse backgrounds.
• Strong organisational and detail-oriented skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide the Board of Trustees with regular reports on CMA activity.
• Ensure CMA processes meet CMA and FCA requirements.
• Manage day-to-day running of Carmarthen CMA.
• Recruit, support and supervise advisers and volunteers.
• Develop links with statutory and voluntary agencies and maintain an active community profile.
• Liaise with clients and creditors by phone, email or letter.
