Job summary

Rapport Guest Services is seeking a warm, professional Community Ambassador to join our client’s Glasgow offices. You’ll be part of a close-knit on-site team, delivering exceptional guest experiences and upholding our standards.

This 12-month fixed-term contract offers 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with a shift rota between 8 AM and 6 PM. You’ll work onsite and support visitors, events, and administrative tasks to ensure a welcoming environment.

Qualifications

  • Experience in customer service, corporate, luxury hotel, or premium airlines preferred.
  • Energetic, proactive with attention to detail and a can-do attitude.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver a seamless, welcoming experience for clients, guests, and colleagues reflecting Rapport’s high service standards.
  • Confidently manage reception duties—enquiries in person, by phone, and via email.
  • Maintain knowledge of building and facilities to assist visitors accurately.
  • Coordinate and support on-site events and client activities.
  • Ensure reception areas are well-presented and inviting.
  • Collaborate with partner teams to uphold a cohesive service delivery.
  • Oversee meeting room and travel bookings, invoice processing, and gifts.
  • Provide a welcoming induction for new starters.

Job description

We are looking for a warm, professional, and people-focused Community Ambassador to join the Rapport family at our client’s stunning offices in the heart of Glasgow. You will be part of a close-knit on-site team of 4, supported by a wider network of 29 receptionists across the UK who share knowledge and passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences. The Client is an American multinational investment management and financial services company, and you will play a crucial role in providing the highest level of service and care to the client, its customers, guests, and service partners in line with service level agreements and set policies and procedures. Type of contract: Full-time, 12 Month Fixed-Term Contract Hours: 40 per week (Monday-Friday, shift rota basis between 8 AM and 6 PM) Employment will be subject to a successful vetting outcome which includes a requirement of proof of a UK address for the last 6 years.

Main responsibilities
  • Deliver a seamless and welcoming experience for all clients, guests, and colleagues, ensuring every interaction reflects Rapport’s high service standards.

  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of the building and facilities to provide accurate information and assistance to visitors.
  • Coordinate and support the smooth delivery of on-site events and client activities.
  • Take pride in the presentation and upkeep of reception areas, ensuring they always reflect a professional and inviting environment.
  • Collaborate with partner teams across the business to uphold a cohesive, “one team” approach to service delivery.
  • Oversee key administrative tasks such as meeting room and travel bookings, invoice processing, and gift arrangements.
  • Provide a welcoming and well-organised induction experience for new starters, supporting them on their first day.
The ideal candidate will
