Job description

Avonpark Retirement Village, located between the UNESCO World Heritage City of Bath and Bradford-on-Avon, is seeking a Community Co-ordinator. This newly created role follows recent planning approvals for an additional 74 apartments and upgrades to our amenities.

This pivotal position involves being the primary contact for residents and the local community, ensuring effective communication and engagement. You will be responsible for maintaining exceptional customer service levels for residents and their families.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Provide open and transparent communication channels between residents and the village management team through various platforms such as technology, newsletters, and bulletins.
  2. Collaborate with the village Residents' Association, including its elected Committee and Officers.
  3. Facilitate the village community engagement plan.
  4. Assist with the move-in process for new residents.
  5. Coordinate with residents and staff to develop a diverse program of activities.
  6. Establish relationships with external providers, suppliers, and local organizations.
