Job description

Avonpark Retirement Village, located between the world heritage city of Bath and Bradford-on-Avon, is on the lookout for a Community Co-ordinator. This is a newly formed role as we have recently had planning approved to build a further 74 apartments and to update our amenities.

This is a crucial role as the Community Co-ordinator will take ownership of being the main point of contact. You will be responsible for resident and local community engagement, serving as a single point of call for residents and communications. You will be the driving force behind maintaining exceptional levels of customer service for residents and their families.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Providing open and transparent communications between the residents and the village management team through technology, newsletters, and bulletins.
  • Working collaboratively with the village Residents’ Association and its elected Committee and Officers.
  • Facilitating the village community engagement plan.
  • Assisting with the move-in process of new residents.
  • Working with residents and village staff to ensure a wide variety of activities.
  • Building working relationships with external providers, suppliers, and organisations within the local community.

  • Genuine interest in providing quality service to customers and residents.
