Our Planning team is growing, and we are looking for a Town Planner to support our team with a range of planning duties focusing on policy, strategy, infrastructure consents, and regeneration planning.

As part of our Environmental team, you'll help improve quality of life. Your work could involve protected species, pollution, surface water and materials management, air quality, or noise, especially in some of the world's busiest and most beautiful locations.

Our team supports clients with complex projects including Nationally Significant Infrastructure Projects, energy developments, residential and commercial schemes, socio-economic, health, and community planning, as well as research into the planning process. Our clients include Highways England, Transport for London, Transport for Wales, HS2, National Grid, Homes England, the Environment Agency, Welsh Government, and the Canals & Rivers Trust, alongside private developers, social landlords, and local authorities.

• Providing planning advice to clients and collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams on masterplans, planning applications, regeneration strategies, policies, and socio-economic and health impact assessments.
• Partnering with clients to understand their challenges and applying your expertise to deliver optimal solutions.
• Supporting client relationships and work-winning opportunities.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Experience in town planning, including policy, strategy, planning applications, consents, regeneration planning, and masterplans.
• Understanding of socio-economic and health impact assessments for development and infrastructure projects.
• Experience with planning applications, especially infrastructure consents.
• Experience supporting masterplans, impact assessments, and working in matrix and dispersed teams.
• A relevant degree, a Master's in an accredited planning course, and working towards MRTPI chartership.
• Understanding stakeholder engagement methods, including engaging with hard-to-reach groups and virtual public engagement.
