Job summary

ClwydAlyn is seeking a Chef to join our Extra Care team, covering schemes across Flintshire, Wrexham and Powys, primarily Shotton, Wrexham and Welshpool. This permanent role offers 30 hours per week with opportunities to pick up extra hours, with no late shifts, helping residents enjoy social mealtimes and community living.

You'll prepare and serve meals, maintain hygiene, stock and safety, and travel between schemes to provide support.

Qualifications

• Experience in catering settings.
• Ability to work across multiple locations.
• Strong hygiene and safety knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Preparing and serving meals for residents.
• Creating a positive and welcoming dining experience.
• Supporting residents to enjoy mealtimes as a social and community-focused part of their day.
• Maintaining food hygiene, allergen and health and safety standards.
• Managing stock and supplies within the kitchen.
• Working closely with scheme colleagues to support residents' wellbeing.
• Maintaining a clean, safe and organised kitchen environment.
• Travelling between schemes as required to provide support and cover.
