Paladins Care Limited is hiring a Community Care Assistant to provide compassionate in-home support for elderly and disabled clients across Luton and surrounding areas. The role focuses on personal care, meal prep, medication support, and companionship, with travel between service users' homes.

The position is female-only in line with Equality Act requirements. You will work full time (minimum 37.5 hours/week) at £11.44 per hour, with training and paid holidays, and optional accommodation at

• Experience in a similar care role preferred.
• Fluent English in writing and speech.
• Hold a valid UK driving licence and willing to travel between homes.

Community Care Assistant (Female Only)

Are you a compassionate and dedicated individual looking to make a meaningful difference in people's lives? We are seeking a Community Care Assistant to provide essential care and support for elderly and disabled individuals in their homes.

Key Responsibilities

• Personal Care: Assisting service users with dressing, undressing, bathing, and toileting in a respectful and dignified manner.
• Household Tasks: Making and changing beds, light cleaning, and helping with the general upkeep of their homes.
• Meal Preparation: Preparing light meals and assisting service users at mealtimes if required.
• Medication Administration: Administering medication and maintaining accurate records.
• Emotional Support: Building positive relationships with service users, offering emotional support, companionship, and helping them maintain independence in their daily lives.
• Travel: Travelling between service users' homes.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a similar role is highly desirable.
• Excellent communication skills: in English (both written and spoken).
• Caring and compassionate nature: Genuine passion for helping others.
• Driving Licence: Must be a confident driver, holding a valid driver's licence and willing to travel between service users’ homes.

What We Offer

• Gross Pay: £11.44 per hour.
• Full-time hours: minimum 37.5 hours per week.
