Job summary

Care Santé Limited in Herne Bay is seeking Care Assistants to join our care teams. The role involves helping vulnerable adults at home, with a variety of shifts from mornings to evenings and occasional weekends.

Full-time and part-time positions are available, with comprehensive training provided and opportunities for promotion. A driving licence is preferred and vehicle access is required for this role.

Qualifications

• No previous experience is necessary but you will need to demonstrate real compassion, be an excellent communicator and problem solver, and be committed to delivering high-quality, respectful care

Responsibilities

• Helping service users overcome mobility problems and other physical disabilities, including aids/adaptations and personal equipment.
• Domestic tasks such as making and changing beds, tidying rooms, light cleaning, laundry and emptying commodes
• Assist with personal care such as washing, bathing and toileting arrangements
• Help with eating and drinking by preparing meals, snacks and drinks, assisting with feeding if required
• Support with preparing and administering medication
• Contribute to a person’s end-of-life care

We have opportunities of both full time and part time positions available. Working usual shift patterns of:

• Mornings 7am-3pm
• Evenings 3pm-10pm
• Alternative weekends
