Job summary

Abbots Care Dorset is seeking kind and compassionate community care assistants to join our expanding team across Dorset. You will visit service users in their own homes to support independence and wellbeing. We offer paid in-house training, DBS, flexible full or part-time hours from 7am to 10pm, paid mileage, and guaranteed hours.

A full driving licence and access to your own vehicle are required. If you are starting out, no experience is needed as we provide induction and shadowing until you

Our community-based support care workers provide care to our service users within their own homes to help them remain as independent as possible. Experience isn’t always necessary as we have a comprehensive training and Induction course and shadow with you until you are ready.

The Role of a community care assistant includes:

We also offer flexibility within our roles to cater to each employee's needs, whether that be to work around family time or other commitments. Employees have the option of contracts up to 40hrs with salaries of £26,665.60 per annum depending on their availability.

Due to the nature of the role and being community based in and around Dorset you will need to have a full driving license and access to your own vehicle, as well the right to work in the UK.
