Job summary

Abbots Care Dorset is seeking kind and compassionate care workers to join a growing team delivering community-based support to clients in their own homes across Dorset. You will help clients stay independent by providing personal care, companionship and support with daily tasks, with training provided.

The role offers flexible hours between 7am and 10pm, guaranteed hours, paid in-house training and a generous mileage scheme. A driving licence and access to your own vehicle are required.

Qualifications

• Full driving license and access to own vehicle
• No prior experience required; comprehensive training and induction provided
• Ability to support clients with daily living and social activities

Abbots Care are seeking kind and compassionate members of our local community to join our expanding team in Dorset and surrounding areas, such as Blandford Forum, Ferndown and Wimborne and surrounding areas.

Due to the nature of the role and being community based in and around Dorset you will need to have a full driving license and access to your own vehicle, as well the right to work in the UK.

Our community-based support care workers provide care to our clients within their own homes to help them remain as independent as possible. The role of a care assistant is extremely rewarding and fulfilling, with many opportunities to develop within your career at Abbots Care Dorset including paid Diplomas and career progression.

Experience isn’t always necessary as we have a comprehensive training and Induction course and shadow with you until you are ready.

The Role of a community care assistant includes:

• Providing personal care including administering of medication
