Job summary

Abbots Care Dorset is seeking kind and compassionate community care assistants to provide in-home support for clients across Dorset, including Ferndown and Wimborne. You’ll help clients stay independent by assisting with daily tasks and social activities in their own homes.

Full in-house paid training and DBS, flexible hours, and guaranteed hours are offered. Applicants must have a driving license and access to a vehicle, with the right to work in the UK.

Qualifications

• Experience isn’t always necessary as Abbots Care Dorset offers comprehensive training and induction.
• You will need a full driving license and access to your own vehicle, and the right to work in the UK.
• Role involves personal care, medication administration, and supporting daily activities.

Abbots Care are seeking kind and compassionate members of our local community to join our expanding teamin Dorset and surrounding areas, such as Ferndown and Wimborne and surrounding areas.

Due to the nature of the role and being community based in and around Dorset you will need to have a full driving license and access to your own vehicle, as well the right to work in the UK.

Our community-based support care workers provide care to our clients within their own homes to help them remain as independent as possible. The role of a care assistant is extremely rewarding and fulfilling, with many opportunities to develop within your career at Abbots Care Dorset including paid Diplomas and career progression.

Experience isn’t always necessary as we have a comprehensive training and Induction course and shadow with you until you are ready.

The Role of a community care assistant includes:
