Job summary

A Deaf-led organization in Derbyshire is seeking Communicator Guides to provide personalized support to deaf blind individuals. Both full-time and part-time roles are available, with opportunities for further training and professional development. Candidates will help clients with daily tasks and provide communication support. Job description

We are looking for Communicator Guides in Derbyshire to come and join our team!

We have both full time and part time roles available - some evening and weekend work will be required.

In this role, you will promote the clients’ independence by providing personalised support, empowering them to carry out daily tasks, and supporting them with communication where necessary, to access services in the community.

Non-qualified Communicator Guides will be considered as long as you have some experience working with deaf blind people and using the deafblind manual ABC's.

Not essential but if you do like to watch football, play darts and snooker and go to the gym then that would be an advantage!
