Searchability NS&D is seeking a Communications Specialist to support a major post-merger integration programme on an initial 6-month contract with extension potential. The role is Belfast-based, fully onsite, with a 36-hour working week and BPSS clearance required.

You will shape messaging and delivery across internal and external channels, collaborating with senior leaders to ensure consistent communications aligned with the transformation strategy.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years' experience within communications roles.
  • Strong internal and external communications experience.
  • Proven experience supporting transformation, change or PMI programmes.
  • Excellent written communication and content creation skills.
  • Experience developing and delivering communications plans.
  • Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to operate independently and embed into a new environment.
  • Experience engaging manufacturing, operational or industrial workforces.

ABOUT THE CLIENT

Our client is a globally recognised engineering and manufacturing organisation undergoing a significant period of transformation and growth. This role offers the opportunity to play a key part in shaping communications strategy and delivery during a major integration programme, working closely with senior stakeholders across the business. Due to ongoing transformation activities, they are looking for an experienced Communications Specialist to join the team.

THE COMMUNICATIONS SPECIALIST ROLE:

As a Communications Specialist, you will provide critical support during a major post-merger integration programme, helping to establish and deliver internal and external communications activities. You will work closely with leadership teams to develop key messaging, launch communication channels and ensure consistent communication across the organisation.

You will:

  • Corporate communications experience within large organisations
