Communication Officer - Part Time

We are seeking a confident and creative Communication Officer to manage day-to-day communications and promote services, events and engagement across digital and traditional platforms.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and update social media accounts and website content
  • Create engaging content for social media, newsletters, press releases and campaigns
  • Liaise with media and respond to public enquiries
  • Support and promote events, consultations and community engagement activities
  • Monitor and report on communication performance
  • Maintain communications and marketing policies
Requirements:
  • NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Marketing, Communications or a related subject ideally
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong knowledge of social media, websites and digital tools (e.g. Canva, Adobe, Microsoft)
  • Creative, proactive and well‑organised
Pay & Hours:
  • £15.30 per hour
  • Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday
  • 22.5 hours per week – 9am – 5pm
  • Weekly pay every Friday
