Reevr Talent Ltd. is seeking an experienced Controls & Automation Engineer for 6 months with potential extension. The role is remote with UK and occasional European travel for commissioning. Pay is £35-£40 per hour outside IR35. Start ASAP.

Responsibilities include PLC/HMI programming, testing, commissioning, and fault-finding across multiple projects, in collaboration with the MD. Travel within the UK and Europe as required.

Qualifikationen

• Experience delivering industrial automation or controls projects.
• Strong Siemens PLC programming experience, including STEP 7 and TIA Portal.
• Experience with S7-300 and S7-1200/1500 systems.
• Knowledge of motion control, drives and Profinet.
• Experience with PLC/HMI development, testing and commissioning.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects.
• Willingness to travel within the UK and Europe when required.

Overview

I'm looking for an experienced Controls & Automation Engineer to support a range of automation projects across the business. The role will involve taking ownership of PLC programming, testing and commissioning across several projects, working alongside the Managing Director. The position will be primarily remote, with occasional travel to customer sites in the UK and Europe depending on project requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Programme and modify PLC and HMI systems
• Support automation upgrades and motion control projects
• Test software and resolve technical issues
• Commission machinery and control systems at customer sites
• Carry out fault-finding on PLCs, drives and control systems
• Manage work across multiple projects and support the wider engineering tea

Essential Skills and Experience
